Owen O'Neill is an award winning stand-up comedian, writer and actor. He made his stand-up TV debut in 1985 on Saturday Live and has since performed all over the World. He has guested twice on Late night with Conan O'Brien. He is an annual visitor to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where he has produced, directed and starred in fifteen one man-shows, winning a string of awards including two Fringe Firsts, the Edinburgh critics award for best comedy a Perrier nomination and the LWT award for best original one-man play. In 2009 he adapted the Shawshank Redemption for the Stage which went on to do three tours of the UK and Ireland produced by Bill Kenwright productions.
